Our Fellowship Groups are designed around unique needs and
interests of specific groups within Cornerstone. The goal of these groups is to provide
fellowship and discipleship to those attending Cornerstone and their invited
friends and guests. We also encourage
our people to invite a friend or two to the events offered by these ministries
as a great way to introduce people in our community to our church family and to
the Lord.
FinishStrong Men's
Ministry
The Men's Ministry helps in the development of mature Christian men by
"reaching out" (helping nonChristians find salvation in Christ) and
"reaching in" (helping believers grow in their relationship to God
and others). We plan, organize and oversee activities like monthly breakfasts,
special events, and retreats.
Woman2Woman
Ministry
The Woman 2 Woman Ministry's primary focus is to foster a
growing faith in the women of Cornerstone. Evening
meetings provide a opportunity to come together for study and discussion of biblical topics and contemporary issues. Refreshments and conversation
follow each evening's study. Special events such as our Christmas Fellowship and semi-annual retreats are relaxed, warm settings which help develop relationships as well as welcome newcomers to our church family.
Motherhood Connection
Motherhood Connection is a ministry for mothers of young
children (pregnancy through kindergarten).
We welcome moms and their babies and kids to join us on the 2nd Thursday
of every month from September through May from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
We provide a morning of fellowship with other moms, solid
Biblical teaching on relevant topics to motherhood, marriage and family, and a
good breakfast! Also, your children are
lovingly cared for by our screened church volunteers during our meeting. The cost is $6 a month, and first time
visitors are free!
At Motherhood Connection, we seek to reach out to moms in
our church and community for the purpose of sharing God’s Word regarding child
rearing, marriage, and home life. We
desire to teach and exemplify the precepts of Titus 2:3-5, where women are
encouraged to love their husbands and children; and to live lives that honor
the Lord in their marriages, parenting and home. We hope you join us as we together learn,
grow, laugh and share every 2nd Thursday.
  
Quest
The Quest Ministry seeks to host events for those who enjoy
the outdoors, adventure and physical activity. The goal is to build and strengthen
relationships in a fun and healthy way and to build bridges to those who do not
yet know Jesus as their Savior.
We do things like tobogganing, hiking, biking, Bike and Ride
(Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and biking), canoeing, camping, photography
hiking, rock wall climbing, orienteering, sledding, and so on.
Connections
As the name indicates, the
Connections Ministry is all about helping you get connected into the family at
Cornerstone. While weekend services are
a great starting point for your Cornerstone experience, you can take a next
step toward involvement and community through a variety of gatherings such as
our annual church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner.
The purpose of the Connections
Ministry is to bring the church family together for a specific time of
fellowship, and also provide an opportunity to hear testimonies about how God
is working in the lives of people. The Cornerstone Community Church Connections ministry is a perfect
opportunity to get to know others in our church
community.
